OUR STORY

 

Manny and Dana Coya's story began in college at Florida State University where he was a Strength and Conditioning Coach and she was a softball player. After graduation, they said "I do" in 2000.

 

Manny continued in the fitness field over the last 14 years as a college strength coach, managing gyms, and as a very successful personal trainer.  Dana had a bunch of babies; four to be exact. Then, their cousin, Bailey, introduced them to CrossFit in 2010.  It was the most effective, all around fitness program they had ever seen and jumped in with all four feet. 

 

In January 2011, Manny, Dana, and their four boys moved to LIma, Peru to open a Crossfit box.  CrossFit Mutare became the name which means "to be transformed".  They saw alot of lives transformed.  In just one year of competition, the CrossFit Mutare team qualified for an invitation to  the 2013 Regional Competition in Guayaquil, Ecuador. 

 

Because of various health situations, they moved back to Bossier City in January of 2014.  Because helping people transform their fitness and wellness is their passion, they, along with Gary Bailey (Dana's dad) reopened CrossFit Mutare.  The story isn't finished, yet.  It has only just begun.
